LNG is natural gas that has been cooled to approximately -162°C (-260°F), at which point it becomes a liquid, allowing for more efficient storage and transportation due to its reduced volume.

1.Cryogenic Tank:

  • The core component is a highly insulated, vacuum-sealed cryogenic tank designed to maintain the LNG at its ultra-low temperature during transport.
  • The tank is typically made of stainless steel or other materials capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and pressure.

2.Insulation:

  • The tank is insulated with materials such as perlite or vacuum insulation to minimize heat transfer and prevent boil-off (evaporation of LNG).
